Conservation assessment using habitat and species distribution data and ecosystem service models for spatial conservation prioritization and multi-criteria planning.

Conservation planning applications using shifts in land use land cover and ecosystem services influenced by climate change and trade-off spatial planning scenarios.

Advancement in geospatial techniques for GIS (ArcGIS and GeoDa), remote sensing (ENVI, ERDAS Imagine, IDRISI, and ongoing learning for CLASlite), land use and land cover analysis (Feature Analyst, RuleGen, and FragStats), conservation planning (MaxEnt, ConsNet, and ongoing learning for Marxan with Zones and Zonation), wildlife habitat connectivity (Linkage Mapper and Circuitscape), and ecosystem services (ongoing learning for InVEST).



Proficiency in statistical packages (SYSTAT, SigmaPlot, SAS, and R) and ecological software (PC-ORD, PASSaGE, EstimateS, Gap Light Analyzer, and Spatial Analysis in Macroecology).



Proficiency in wiki software (Confluence) and project management tools.
